Vladimir Ficenec
1959 Vladimir Ficenec was on our "Mystery Ficenecs" for some time, after we found an article which talked about an emergency "hook & cable" landing system being installed for NATO jets at the 4th Tactical Airbase in Caslav around September 28, 1998. He is the son of Jaroslav Ficenec & Anna (Danisková) Ficenecová. Jaroslav & Anna have their roots in Dobruška area (village of Bily Ujezd). Vladimir's grandfather was miller and he moved to north-west part before WW II - Trebenice, later Vlastislav. He had four children; Jaroslav was the oldest one. Vladimir was married in Usti nad Labem to Eva Jindrichová. Eva was born 5 November 1959, also in Usti nad Labem. Vladimir is still in military, Czech Air Force with the rank of colonel.
