Dorothy Blanche (Ficenec) Gilk 1936
John "Jack" Allen Gilk 1933

Dorothy is the fifth child of Frank & Stazie Ficenec.  She was born near Milnor, a small farm-town in Ransom County, North Dakota where her family lived, on March 4, 1936.  She married Jack Gilk, on June 3, 1961.  Jack was born on September 20, 1933 in Steele, North Dakota.  Dorothy & Jack have six children: Gregory John, Thomas Michael (1963), Joel David (1966-1972), Jeremy Allen (1970), Stacey Dianne (1976) and Sarah Ellen (1977).

Greg was born on March 31, 1962 in Jamestown, North Dakota.  He married Doris Ann Sprague (6/8/1962) of Kearney, Nebraska on July 2, 1988 in Idaho Falls, ID.  They have two children:  Ryan Lee (7/22/1982) and Jessica Autumn (10/14/1983).
