(Ficenec) Olson 1930 Mary is the oldest child of Frank & Stazie Ficenec. She was born in Elliott, a small farm-town in Ransom County, North Dakota where her family lived for a few years, on February 18, 1930. She married Irving Olson from nearby Lisbon, on October 16, 1928 at St. Arnold's Church in Milnor, a small farm-town in Sargent County, North Dakota, where they still live. Irving is the child of Ole & Inga "Kari" (Lee) Olson (Inga changed her name to Kari when she and Ole came from Norway). He was born in Lisbon, a small farm-town in Ransom County, North Dakota on November 18, 1919. Mary & Irving have three children: Jerome Irving, Monica Mary and Richard Joseph. Jerry was born in Lisbon, a small farm-town in Ransom County, North Dakota on September 11, 1953. He married Patricia Colleen Ford (3/17/1956) on April 4, 1981 at St. Michael's church in Grand Forks, North Dakota. They have four children: Mathew Jerome (1/8/1982), Michael Joseph (4/8/1983), Patrick Lee (11/14/1984) and Jordan Thomas (6/24/1986). Monica was born in Lisbon, ND on July 13, 1956. She married Timothy Jay Pederson (9/28/1956) of Park Rapids, Minnesota on September 15, 1984 at Olivet Lutheran church in Fargo, North Dakota. They have two children: Andrew Timothy (6/16/1987) and Alex Jay (5/10/1989). Richard was born in Breckenridge, Minnesota on January 4, 1965. He married Erin Colleen Carlson (1/6/1965) of Lisbon, North Dakota on December 26, 1987 at Milnor Lutheran church in Milnor, North Dakota. They have two children: Shayna Colleen (4/5/1990) and Brett Richard (7/27/1992). |
