Rites Held Here For Frank Ficenec

Requiem High Mass was sung by Rev. H. J. Mikalofsky for Frank W. Ficenec on January 29, 1955, in the St. Arnold's Church of Milnor.  He passed away on January 25, 1955 at St. Francis hospital of Breckenridge, where he had been a patient for nearly a month.

Frank W. Ficenec was born to Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Ficenec of Weston, Nebraska on June 2, 1895.  He was baptized in the Catholic Church and confirmed at St. Vincent's church of Stirum, N. D.

He moved to the Stirum community with his parents at the age of 14.  He married Anastacia Palensky of Crete, N. D., on October 16, 1928 at the St. Vincent's church in Stirum.  They resided in the Elliott community until 1933, when they moved to the present farm home, Sydna township, in Ransom County.
