G. John Ficenec 1869-19?? We know that by the 1910 Census John was married to a woman named Bessie (1870), an immigrant from Bohemia living in Nebraska - she came over in 1880. We see that they are living on a farm in Chester, Nebraska, and they have five children living with them at the time: Edward (18), Otto (16), John(6), Frank (4) and Vaclav (2). è 1910 Census page from Nebraska In the 1920 Census, most of the family is still living on the farm in Spencer, with some slight variations - "Americanization's" of the names: Edward (27), John (16), Frankie (13) and James (12).
